This is not a training programme. This is the beginning of a national standard.

The Problem

Reconstruction is not complete
when surgery ends.

Every year, thousands of women undergo breast reconstruction following cancer, trauma, preventative surgery and life-altering medical procedures. Their surgery may be complete. Their recovery may not be.

Because reconstruction is about more than anatomy.
It's about identity.
It's about confidence.
It's about recognising yourself again.

Yet one of the most important stages of the restoration journey remains largely unregulated, inconsistent and without a recognised national framework.

Patients deserve better. Practitioners deserve better.
The profession deserves better. That's why we're building it.

This Is For You

For the practitioner who wants
their work to mean more.

You don't see restorative areola care as another treatment. You understand what it represents. The emotional significance. The human significance. The responsibility that comes with helping someone feel whole again.

You care deeply about patient outcomes.
You believe standards matter.
You want to be recognised for excellence.
You want to contribute to something larger.
You believe this profession deserves better.

If that's you, keep reading.

The Opportunity

Five years from now, restorative
areola care in Australia will look
very different.

The question is: who helped shape that future?

The first practitioners through this framework won't simply receive certification.
They will become part of the group responsible for helping establish what excellence looks like in this field.
They will help set the benchmark. They will help elevate patient outcomes. They will help build recognition for restorative areola care within the broader healthcare landscape.
And they will be remembered as the practitioners who helped establish the foundation.

This opportunity will only exist once.

About The Founder

Rachel

After years of working with women following breast reconstruction, one truth became impossible to ignore. The surgery was often complete. The healing wasn't.

Again and again I witnessed the profound impact restorative areola care could have on confidence, identity and emotional recovery. Yet I also saw the absence of a recognised pathway for practitioners dedicated to this work. No national benchmark. No unified framework. No recognised standard.

I realised the profession didn't need another course. It needed a standard — one that protects patients, supports practitioners, elevates outcomes and helps establish restorative areola care as an essential part of the reconstruction journey.

This is the beginning of that vision. And I'd love to invite the right practitioners to help build it.

A Patient's Story

"After having no nipples for 10 years after preventative breast surgery , i decided i was ready. I can't believe i waited that long . Rach is Amazing at what she does . Having the tattoo done has actually changed the way I feel about myself. I feel comfortable in my body now . Thank you for everything Rach !! My 3D areola tattoo looks incredible !! I love them. Highly recommended"

— Ally

"After a botched areola tattoo by a “Cosmetic Dr” that was recommended to me I felt numb and disappointed. Thank God for Rachel, she came across in a breast cancer support group and I decided to reach out to her. I feel like a whole new person again, such an emotional time. I couldn't be more thankful for Rach"

— Anonymous

"I came across Rachel at Tinted Love after my double mastectomy due to breast cancer. Rachel was kind and warm as well as extremely skilled and knowledgable. She created me new areolas which look so realistic and made my breasts look like breasts again. It's meant I feel more normal around my children when getting changed. I'm so glad I went to her!"
